Enon Students Learn About Military Service
Posted on 12/19/2016
Lieutenant Colonel Samantha Adducchio visited Enon Primary with Technical Sergeant Cory Menchhofer and Senior Airman Isaac Adducchio to teach students in Mrs. Lambert's kindergarten class and Mrs. Marshall's 1st grade class about their job of communication for the military.
They provide satelite, internet, and provide military television for troops overseas. The Air National Guard also provides communication for the military to contact their families while stationed overseas.
The students were able to learn about their job and see pictures of their worksite and they brought in radios for the kids to practice talking into like walkie talkies.
Mrs. Marshall's and Mrs. Lambert's class made cards for the troops stationed overseas. The students enjoyed learning about military communication and creating cards for the troops who work hard to protect our country. Thank you to Lieutenant Colonel Samantha Adducchio, Technical Sergeant Cory Menchhofer, and Senior Airman Isaac Adducchio for visiting our school!
